This Chi works great! My daughter has very thick, wavy hair that tends to "poof" in humid weather. The Chi GF1001ND straightens her hair quickly and easily. I purchased this product initially from my doctor who had it in the office. It works great. I've always had problems along the bikini line and especially under my arms, but it actually does reduce the redness and ingrown hairs.

As other people have said, it does smell a little but that obviously fades quickly as it dries and you get used to it. It also does cause some dryness and flaking, but as others have said as well, I'd rather have a little of that than red bumps. Usually that has been on the bikini line and not under arm. It is exfoliating; obviously this means it is just working. It does have to be used consistently though. My doctor told me to use it morning and night whether you shave or not, but I mostly just use it once a day and that has been working for me. Great product.

I used to use this conditioner (and the shampoo and other Aveda products) years ago. Nowadays, I rely on CHI Infra products, but this was one I used for more than a year, and it's a good product.

Problem is, it's not conditioning enough for very dry frizz-prone hair like mine. I need tougher conditioning.

However, it has a wonderful fresh minty scent and it's a decent product. If your hair is not superdry--if it's normal to oily, this product could be great for you.

As much as I love the smell, not for me, sadly.

I'll add that this minty smell is particularly refreshing on summer hot days or for us who live in subtropical zones. Something about it just feels COOLER. :)

I purchased this product -- an 8.5 oz bottle of Aveda shampoo that I happen to like -- for the listed price of .75. That seemed expensive, but I assumed that it would be within a few dollars of what a salon would charge me. As it turns out, the pricing wasn't even close. I stumbled upon the product at a salon for .95. That means that Amazon charged me .80 more than the already inflated salon price. That's ridiculous -- and a huge disappointment that such vampiric price gouging behavior would come from Amazon.

Great product. Lousy price. I'm returning it today for my money back. Let's hope that works out because I can buy almost two bottles of shampoo in the salon or one giant bottle for the same money.

The Bumble and Bumble Hairspray is some of th ebest I hve used. Not onl does it smell good, but once it has dried and a short amount of time goes by, your hair feels very soft, but stays in play, unlike the old aqua net hairspray, your hair does not feel stiff or plastered to yourhead.

My hair is medium length, thin, naturally curly and frizzy. Before buying this dryer, I used a Conair Ion Shine, which did okay. I had to put 2-3 different products in my hair to ensure I could manage the curls. I decided on this because of the Chi name. I love it. My hair drys quick, I only use a drop of Biosilk Silk Therapy, and I use a professional brush. I also switched my shampoo. So, any of these could be contributing to how manageable my hair has become. But the dryer is worth it. You do have to be careful, because the heat is pretty hot; you cannot keep it over your hands/arms/or head for a long time in one place. But since it cuts the drying in time in half, you don't need to keep it in one place for long. There is a low and high setting, and a cool shot. It's backed by a decent warranty; and if you buy at Trade Secrets, they will replace products within the year period instead of having to ship to the manufacturer.

I had hoped that I could use the foil to trim the hairs on my back, but I realized that would take them down to nothing. If there was a comb for the foil, this would be a perfect shaver.

Using the trimmer for most of my body hair works well, but since it is so narrow, it takes a bit longer than I would like, If I could use the foil, or a wider trimmer head, it would go faster.

So I have resorted to holding the trimmer over my shoulder and hovering over the long hairs on my back, to get them to a more acceptable length (1/8" to 1/4"), and that seems to work well. Is someone else were doing my back for me, it would not be a problem to use the trimmer head for this. But since my partner would rather I not clip my body hair at all, I have to do it myself.

I have found that the BG2030 also is needed to complete haircuts with the QC5055 when trimming around the ears, and for trimming parts of my mustache with my beard trimmer.

This would be perfect with a comb to go over the foil. I wonder if the previous model, the BFG2020, uses the same foil, since it had a comb for it.

How to Care For European Hair Wigs

The best tool to do this with for curly or wavy styles is a wig pick, and for a straight wig, a wire wig brush is ideal. It's best to start at the ends and work your way up to the roots. Using regular brushes and combs can tangle the hair further and cause it to look frizzy, so be sure you're using tools specifically for wigs.

4) Next, you should fill a basin or sink with warm water and add specially formulated wig shampoo. Wig shampoo is designed to work with the European hair wigs materials and gently cleanse it without damaging it.

5) You should then soak the human hair wig for five minutes in the soapy water. When the five minutes is over, gently squeeze out the excess water and rinse with cool or lukewarm water.

7) After the shampoo has been thoroughly rinsed from the human hair wig, you're ready to condition it. Get a quarter-sized amount of wig conditioner in your hand and massage it in gently and let it stand for a about 5 minutes so it can really work to smooth and nourish the wig's fibers. Rinse well and squeeze out the excess water gently.

8)You can then place your wig in a towel and blot gently with a towel to dry. If you choose to let it air dry, place it on a wig stand so it dries easily. If you need to wear it soon, you can blow dry it gently on a very low setting with a wig-safe brush.
