Hey brotha's is the best hair product for the ultimate sea-sick waves. 360, sporting waves. murrays etc..........ain't got nothing on this product. It's a little expensive but does not have the harsh chemical ingredients as the products i mentioned. Try buying it on line for the best price.
I use this after my hair is dry or almost dry. I have curly hair. The next day my hair is still in soft curls, normally it would be frizzy. I can just damp my hair with a little water and curls come back, (if needed). This is a hard product to find, glad I found it on line. This is a good price. Golden Seal has a wonderful smell too. It is not overpowering and does not make hair feel stiff. A little goes a long way. Spray and crunch on curly hair. Thats it!
My hairdresser introduced me to this shampoo and conditioner years ago. It is the best I have found for my color-treated, curly, fine, dry hair. When he ran out, I tried others and their performance was poor compared to this stuff. This size will last a long time and is cheaper than when I get it at the hair salon. Pair with the Color-Save Split Ends treatment and you will have healthy shiny hair that maintains its color.
Okay, this is one of those products you hear recommended over and over at CurlTalk, the forum of the NaturallyCurly website. There's a reason it's a word-of-mouth Holy Grail product for curlies and worth the big price, or rather, several reasons:
1. Smells crazy good. Every time I open this up to use anywhere near my sisters or relatives, they wanna know what it is that smells so good.
2. It's got lots of nice natural ingredients.
3. It lasts and lasts, cause you only need a tiny eety bitsy bit to do the hair thang.
4. It actually does provide emollience for hair that needs to hold onto its moisture.
5. It does tame frizz (I won't say ELIMINATE, but I will say tame). It helps de-pouf slept-on hair, too.
6. It's excellent for the SOTC (scrunch out the crunch) step for those who use hard hold gels.
7. It really does add shine. I am not kidding. Really.
8. This can be used on wet hair after conditioning as a sealer in dry climates (or winter seasons) for porous/dry hair types.
9. You can even use this on dry patches of skin, not just hair.
10. I did mention it smells WONDERFUL, right? Yeah...
Anyway, this is a solid pomade in a good-sized jar. You just rub your fingertips in there or use your nail to curl up a small amount, from half a pea size to pea-size, depending on how much hair you have, how coarse it is, etc. You rub it together in your palms to warm up and liquefy. You gently spread it over your canopy and/or scrunch it into your dry or crunchy bits. You can use it to tame wayward curls or smooth a blown-out do into smooth shininess.
A very good product. Frankly, the best in Jane Carter's line and I have a lot of them (shampoo, conditioner, sculpting lotion, spray gel, etc). This is the only one I'll repurchase. But not soon, as I still have plenty left in the one I bought last Christmas.
If you have fine hair (like me), use VERY VERY LITTLE to start. It can weigh your hair down (as will any oils/butters if you have fine hair). If you have coarse hair, this can help add weight to reduce puffiness.
If you have sensitivities to some natural fruity/nutty ingredients, make sure you read the label before purchasing. I almost didn't get it cause I do have some sensitivities to certain citrus essential oils and I get very sick from mango blossoms (though not the fruit). But I found I had no issues with this (maybe cause it's mostly on the outer part of my hair that I use it. Here's what in this product, FYI:
Shea butter, Kokum butter, Illippe butter, Mango butter, Vitamins A, D, & E, pear and grapefruit essential oils.
I think curlies should definitely try this.
And as to this vendor: I've ordered from Vitamin Shoppe via Amazon and from their own site, and they are pretty darn reliable. I had trouble only once out of a half-dozen times, and it wasn't a big deal. Do keep records, though, if you want the rewards. I didn't get mine for last year, and I definitely ordered more than 0. But unless they were out of stock, I always got my stuff and at good prices. So, thumbs up for the vendor.

I'm a white girl with medium-bodied, curly hair (3B if that resonates with you) and I've found that just a little of this in combination with Carol's Daughter Healthy Hair Butter, 4 oz. does absolute wonders for my hair!! I'm a recent convert to the Curly Girl no shampoo method, and I've replaced my silicone-based hair products with natural ones from Carol's Daughter. I am shocked that these products actually hold my hair and keep it from disintegrating into a fluffy, puffy, gross mess. Not only that, but they're so light that my hair curled tighter and shrunk shorter than it ever has before--it's a full two inches shorter now than it was 24 hours ago. Amazing! If you have fine or straight hair, these products will likely be too much for you. And you really only need the tiniest bit, despite how much other crap you've had to slather on in the past to get hair that looks half as good as it will after you try this. I add it to my hair when it is damp out of the shower and let it air dry. I love my hair now!! It's so soft and shiny, and it smells delicious!
I switched shampoo for years, always chasing the latest and greatest. Never again, this is the real deal. The scent is very clean and fresh and not over-done. This product cleans well but is not harsh. You pay for this quality but it is worth every penny.
I have used Henna Huts Hair Dye for years and none on the market works as well and gives me such a beautiful color. It makes my hair soft, thick, shiny and vibrant. It is simple to apply, and super simple to wash out. I have no more split ends and Henna Hut is fabulous with customer service.Not many selling this will answer the phone. I just used this product for the first time last night and my hair is softer and more conditioned than it has been in ages. I left it in for 25-30 minutes with a conditioning cap on. After rinsing it out and blow-drying, my hair revealed long-awaited beauty. The hair is soft and silky. It was like straw before. I love this product and can't wait to use it again in a week. My hair has needed this and I'm so glad to give it what it needed! Seriously, I'm really, really happy with it!
I have very long, thick, wavy hair and I am totally in love with this shampoo. It's *very* thick, so it takes only a small amount to get a nice suds going, it rinses out nice and clean but doesn't leave your hair feeling "stripped".
My hair felt nice and soft and smelled wonderful! I would recommend it to anyone who's looking for a chemical-free, affordable, high-end shampoo!
I have used all the cleansing conditioners and liked them all. I prefer fig over the sweeter types, such as lavender and sweet almond. It's probably just the slightly medicinal smell more than the effects on my hair. However, being budget-minded, I just can't justify using this product every time I wash my hair, especially according to the directions. Twenty squirts a day and you run out of the stuff fairly quickly. I still use it but not as a daily shampoo. Instead, I use TRESemme healthy volume shampoo, skip the conditioner, and use a dollop of this product as a leave-in conditioner. It's just too expensive.
I purchased a 2 pack at a retail store for the same price (actually 1 cent cheaper, but whatever). I bought them with my two young daughters in mind because they like to wear their hair in turbans after shower/bath just like I do, but for whatever reason the towels always crumple within a few seconds and the girls just can't keep them on.
I wasn't sure how this would work but I cannot say enough wonderful things about this simple little purchase! I have a 3 year old with long hair (all the way down her back) and a 7 year old with hair just below her ears and the Turbie Twist works perfectly on both of them. The one with longer hair I point the "tail" end of the turban towards her back and wrap it around her hair and then twist it up and pull it through the elastic. My daughter with short hair is able to bend over where her hair falls upside down on her head so I point the tail end towards her front and twist it backwards before pulling it through the elastic. It works perfectly BOTH ways.
I even tried the Turbie Twist on my own hair while it was DRY and it still held which is virtually impossible for a regular towel to do. (I suppose it's because the moisture makes a towel hold in place easier than one that has no dampness at all.)
I highly recommend this product if you have problems keeping regular towels on your head or your child's head.

I have been using Wen for almost 2 years. I use the cleansing conditioners and occasionally the hair mask and styling creme. I LOVE what they do to my hair! It is soft, shiny and never tangles. I ran out for a couple of weeks and went back to the salon products I was using before discovering Wen and immediately noticed a difference. The shampoo and conditioner I used are quite expensive, .00 a bottle each and I went through them in about 6 weeks; I have hair to the middle of my back and though it is fine, it is very thick. I had to use a boatload of conditioner just to get the tangles out. I don't have to use as much Wen and my hair is so much nicer with it that my old products. I am completely hooked on this stuff and have found that contrary to what I read here, I have spent less on this than I would have on the Nioxin I used to use. I just wet my hair and follow the directions, put it up on top of my head while I finish my shower and by the time I am through a few minutes later, I am able to comb it out with no problem, no tangling. My hairdresser noticed the difference the first time she trimmed my hair and she's started using it too...we just don't tell her boss! The only one I'm not wild about is the fig; the scent is too cloying for me, but the other 4 are great. None of them, including the fig, leave much scent after it dries.
I really can't see any cons to this at all...it costs me less, works better for me and actually takes me less time simply because it's only 1 step and I don't have to deal with the tangles I used to get.
